I frequent this groomers for my French Bulldog and Cocker Spaniel. Good service. Easy to work with. Always accommodate. The cuts and washes are always up to standard.

I love coming here to groom my cat. They always take care of my two cats the times I've gotten them groomed. Its 90 bucks but worth it. from all that shedding they get during the summer and makes them be cool instead of being hot all the time. Will come again

We tried to have Fluffy groomed on Monday before we came to Hollywood at a Petsmart in Las Vegas, but we had a bad experience booking her appointment, so while here in Hollywood, we still decided to pamper her. I found Melrose Pet Grooming through a. Google search. I called first thing on Tuesday morning to see if we could do a walk in, and they said sure, bring her in. The price and everything about the experience at Melrose Pet Grooming was first class and she looks fabulous. We have been walking around Hollywood with us and she has been getting a lot of attention! Thank for the experience and we will definitely bring her in when we come to Hollywood.

Went as a walk in today and was assisted by Chip. The first thing he did was get down to the level to make our pup more comfortable and I knew instantly we chose the right place. Our doggo was fairly difficult today and the staff came together and worked as a team to handle his and our needs beautifully. We will definitely be back!

These people are hard workers and the customer service was very good. Even when I was late to pick up my pup they were patient and kind. Although my pup smelt fresh and his skin was nice and health/mosturized, this is not a place to bring a husky or a dog that suffers from shedding. He was still losing hair in the car after picking him up, usually he dosent shed again for about a week after being groomed. I paid more than usual for really less outcome but i appreciate their hard work and flexibility so I'd recommend them for a smaller pup owner.

Brought my German Shepard here and she came out looking great! Very nice groomers here would definitely recommend to bring your dog here.

My little one is very nervous/high maintenance, and here they're some of the only ones who can groom him and they do it exactly right!!!!! At the best price I can find. Nuff said!!!

These guys are the sweetest, most gentle and loving cat groomers. My boy can be an ass and they are so nice to him and let me hold him while they shave him. The girl cat just yells the whole time and they accommodated with moving the dogs around so they don't agitate her more. The most amazing out this fair my kitties love it especially when they get back home and don't have to lick themselves.

Mina and Luis are great. Mina really knows how to do a puppy cut on a Bichon which alot of groomers do not know how to do. And Luis takes great care of Henry. I highly recommend them.

The best service ever! Every time I come here they're so reliable and will deal with dogs some others won't take. So patient and kind. And it's perfect because while my dog gets groomed I get acupuncture in the same plaza!

I've brought my wire-haired fox terriers to Melrose Pet Grooming for over 10 years now. Most groomers I had used in the past got the cut wrong, but Melrose always gets it right! My babies always come back relaxed, happy and looking like a million bucks. Love the shop's flexible drop-off times, too! Everyone there is highly skilled, friendly and terrific!

I'd go again... my dogs were really ungroomed... and they are some big and hairy dogs... these guys did the job and charged a fair wage. Give yo dog some love... let these peeps handle the dirty work.

This place is great! There is a parking lot and they take walk ins before noon. It takes about 5 ish hours for my small dog to get groomed and they do a great job! I've never found any cuts on him (and I have on a lot of groomings before) and he is always in high spirits when I pick him up. Prices are affordable and really nice people working here! Recommend!

I was very impressed with the outcome with my puppy's cut and their customer service. The staff was very accommodating fitting me in their schedule on such a late notice. I would give this business 5 stars however I asked for my my pups nails to be trimmed or flies and some of the nails were split the gentleman that was working did explain why they were like that . Other than that I was very pleased, I'll be a returning customer.

I took my friends giant Schnauzer in and they gave it the standard cut and cleaned him up real nice, he was happy I was happy and it was convenient cuz it was closed by so no complaints here.

Take my dog Axl Rose to get groomed here. Super affordable and they always do a nice job. I've taken Axl to other groomers in LA before and they were all overpriced and I would find nicks and cuts all over my dog. Melrose Pet Grooming is so much better and definitely worth it.

I prefer to go on Tuesdays-Saturdays with the asian woman, and her amazing assistant! His customer service skills and professionalism is really on point and he's a wonderful asset to the business.

The grooming skills are great! My pets always look so beautiful when they come home! Even though they are kinda far from my home, I will always go to them because i trust them and love their grooming skills. PS the prices are really the best in town!

I love this place. If you get there before 12 you do not need an appointment. They are kind to the animals and it is the only groomer I have ever had where my dog is not scared he always gets very excited to go. I trust them 100 percent and I have been coming here for years!

Always willing to take our dog without a pre-set appointment and they are always pretty quick. Not glamorous but a good job.

They are the best! Always so sweet and caring to our dogs. And we have two tiny dogs that get scared easily but they make them feel comfortable. They are quick too. And will give you free day care as long as your dog is getting a shampoo service that day.

All the grooming happens right behind the counter where you can see they treat the animals with love and care.

We love Mina and her assistant (feel so bad we don't know his name). They are the best. A great non-Hollywood-glamor place - no frills (I know that's hard for LA people) but she does a great job for one of the best prices you can find. I love a no BS kinda place and Ms. Mina serves that.

I dropped my Ricky Bobby off after not getting him groomed for quite a while. I dropped him off to a nice lady who coddled him as she escorted him behind the counter and took my number. I showed up 45 minutes later after dropping him off to pick up . Thanks for taking Ricky from ashy to classy!

They were unable to groom my cat, Wallace because he was too out of control. But they did the best they could! When I came to pick him up they did help buzz the fur on his booty.

Dog stylisyist have good style kmow how ,and understanding of owner needs for pet. With a super calming temperament.

I would normally give them 4 stars because for years they raised the prices on me without any warning... BUT they have been consistently good withy pups for years. I've gone to many places thought his 10 years, and everyone at MPG has been wonderful and consistent.

Took my toy poddle today and I was able to walk-In on a Saturday which was great for my busy schedule. Our baby is a rescue abused dog, traumatized about everything and I loved the fact that the minute we walked in he was comfortable with the environment, came to pick him up and he looked great and happy.
They charged a bit more because he was in a very bad condition but worth it.
You guys have a new client.

I have a dog with long hair and I take her to get shaved a couple of times a year. The staff always remembers me and my dog; they take very good care of her and she always comes out looking adorable.

My dog screams like a human when he thinks he's gonna get his claws clipped. He's a rescue so it's possible he had past trauma in that area but who knows? He just might be a weirdo. In the past, he's been a terror at a groomer and he couldn't have his claws clipped there. I took him to Melrose Pet Grooming as a last ditch effort before taking him to the vet to have his claws clipped. They were very kind, took him right away, clipped his claws, and had him back in my arms in 5 minutes. He didn't scream or pee and poop all over the counter like he had done in the past. Shocking! I really appreciate what they did and how gentle they were with my nutty Chihuahua. Thank you, Melrose Pet Grooming!

I've been taking my dog Bentley here off and on for about 5 years. They are friendly and can sometimes take last-minute appointments if you call in the AM. The price is about average and my dog always comes home looking and smelling great! It's nothing fancy yet he comes back looking better than when he'd go to more expensive places in the area.

I was a little scared bring my dog to a new place, but I still brought her since it was close to my house and she gave me a good price.! When I picked her up she looked so gorgeous they gave her a nice hair cut everything that I wanted was perfect. I recommend this place.

we love taking our animals to melrose pet grooming!!
both the lady who owns the place and the gentleman who helps her are so nice, SO accommodating and do such a great job!
we have 6 animals (3 dogs & 3 cats) and we take them to be groomed multiple times a year. i would say 9 times out of 10 we call at the last minute on a saturday asking if we can have anywhere from 1 to 3 of our pets shampooed and shaved...and they have always always been so incredibly accommodating.
we have a really old persian cat named "Potato" that we adopted from a shelter. she was severely abused by her former owners...they had never cut her nails... she was starving....etc. i could go on and on....but the point is, when we adopted her, we promised her that we would give her the best life possible from here on out... this includes regular trips to the groomers to get a bath and a "lion cut".
Potato LOOOOOVES going to Melrose Pet Groming. she loves the owner and the gentleman who works with her...and they love Potato right back.

I used to live in Larchmont Village and brought my pup to Melrose Pet Grooming for a bath and cut. She came out looking like a top show dog!
Absolutely the BEST grooming that she has ever received and was reasonably priced.

To top it off, you can drop your pup off early and pick up before closing. Your pup will come out looking great, smelling good (they use doggie cologne) and ready to make everyone stop you on walks to gush about their cuteness!

I've been taking my mini schnauzer here for about 4 years and I love it. It's really shocking to read the other reviews because this place is small enough and wide open so that you can even see everything going on. I've taken my mini to other places and am never as happy as I am with Melrose. Lailah (my mini) is always well cut, clean and most of all happy! They have these huge dryiers for the pups and Lailah absolulty loves them!!! I really do recomend this place.

I took my Pomeranian to Melrose Pet Grooming and they did a great job!! You can tell the owner loves animals and treated my dog very well. I called in the morning and was told I could drop him off anytime before noon the same day!! I dropped him off at 1130am and he was ready by 3:30pm (after 2years of groomers, 4 hours seems to be the standard time frame).

Now for the price: A wash with a cut, ear cleaning, anal glands, and nail clipping for a small dog (10-15lbs) was only $45. In the heart of LA, the price can't be beat!

I'm definitely going to go there again and would highly recommend it!

I have taken our dog Chopstick here for 5 years and never had one problem! She always comes back clean, looking good, and has a handmade bow on her collar each and every time. Mina and her assistant love Chopstick and always so gentle and interested in her. She is always able to groom Chopstick on a moments notice and she is ready in a matter of a couple of hours. I'd definitely recommend Mina to anyone who wants a 5-star groom and at affordable prices! Thanks for making Chopstick look great!

I love this place.  I have a very unruly Persian cat that hates being groomed - the owner takes on the challenge every time with a fearless out look.  Definitely worth $45!

I brought my dog Oso to Melrose Grooming the day I adopted him from the pound. He is part chow and had been in the pound for over a year...needless to say he smelled like a barn and his fur was matted and tangly. They took him and when I returned 4 hours later he looked perfect! He may have even been 10 pounds lighter. And I was shocked they didn't charge me extra because it was definitely a job I would have paid extra for. Now I live in San Francisco and every time I visit LA I take Oso there. It's been 4 years and I have not found a groomer that I like so well and does as great of a job here in SF. Their prices are the lowest i've found to boot. I highly recommend this business.

(Melrose has a "dryer box" which is like a kennel that gently dries dog's hair. It is a great solution for dogs who are afraid of hair dryers)

Nikko The Dog (NTD) has been coming here for years.  He is always well-cared for, trots right in with a smile and seems always happy to return.  He always comes home well-groomed...and CLEAN -:).

$35 gets your dog bathed, groomed, anal expressed and a pretty little bow on their collar.

I dropped my dog off at Melrose Pet Grooming and picked him up about an hour later. He was clean and happy. My wallet was happy too! Whenever I feel lazy to bathe Muneco myself, I just bring him here!

Melrose Pet Groomers are great!!  I was able to see my puppy while being groomed.  Very professional.  Very compassionate.

I've been taking Touie & Trillie here for over 5 years. I've been to all the trendy pet spas in Weho/Beverly Hills. Nobody gives them a better cut than this little hidden gym. Mina knows how to cut small dogs especially maltese / malti-poos.

I've taken my dog here a few times and I've been satisfied each time. They are very gentle and takes last minute appointments without a fight. I would highly reccommend to any dog owner!

we use to live right around the corner, but about a year ago moved into the valley. we don't care if we have to sit in an hour of traffic, we would not trust our beloved dog to any other groomer! they take such good care of him and he always comes home looking and smelling amazing! they are VERY nice and very clean plus they know my dogs name when he walks in the door.....highly recommended!
